After well over 6 months in the making, the MAXIMUS DRACONIS. Possibly the ULTIMATE Western Dragon VR avatar base.

The ChilloutVR version of the avatar requires Dynamic Bones in order to use.

FEATURES:

- 3 included variants. The Dragon (Classical 6 limbed), The Drake (No wings, more room for activities), and The Wyvern (All wing, all of the time).

- ~115 customization blendshapes, the majority of which in the face, to truly make this your dragon/drake/wyvern.

- ~40k polygons per avatar, lots of headroom for adding accessories.

- Only 1 main material, 3 materials total (Primary/main material, the eye shine, and the chest credit.)

- FULL SRanipal face tracking blendshape set for eye and face tracking purposes, alongside eyebrow shapes for eventual future facetracking hardware. Set up for use via VRCFT both in the CVR and VRC versions of the avatar.

- Alongside the native gesture set, the gesture sets of 5 popular furry avatar bases, for if you have existing strong muscle memory and/or preference for any of those gesture sets.

- Included Substance Painter file, as well as a 2D Gimp .xcf, and the masks exported out to b/w maps + the dedicated paint model as a separate .obj, ready to be used in whatever 3D painting software you desire.

- Also includes .blend files and displacement maps, for creating high quality renders/animation and possibly 3D print files.

- Arm-as-Wing control on the Dragon, allowing for swapping control between the arms and wings. + Preconfigured movement parent for picking people up with your wings. (CVR only)

- Natural direct body control of the Tail (Ideally with use of a hip tracker) and Toes (With use of foot trackers).

- Custom flight animations for when in 'Flying' mode. (CVR only)

- Alongside the ChilloutVR and VRChat versions in the .unitypackage, bonus NeosVR formatted .fbx files.

DO:

- Edit this base for your own purposes to your hearts content.

- Allow others to do texture and edit commissions. (The Commissioner has to have purchased the Maximus Draconis of course. The texture artist / editor does not so long as they do not use the avatar or assets, in-game or otherwise, for themselves.)

- Create and share/sell accessories for this base. (As long as no part of the original avatar is included, sans the rig/skeleton.)

- Create and upload public avatars. (As long as they don't have any customization options built into the avatar. Create your own modifications, just don't allow for customizing the avatar (blendshapes, textures, etc.) in the avatar itself.)

- Do whatever you want with the included assets for your own personal non-commercial purposes.

DON'T:

- Resell any part of what is included in the pack, sans the aforementioned rig/skeleton for the purposes of accessories for this base.

- Share the paid assets around.

- Use for commercial purposes outside of the previously stated commissions and avatar accessories. Please get in touch if you want to figure something out to that end.

- Remove the included chest credit from the model in any uploads of the base. Moving it around is fine as needed, just don't remove it from the model outright, or shrink it so it can not be seen.

FAQ:

What shader(s) does this avatar use?

- By default, the avatar just uses Unity Standard. You're free to use whatever shaders you like of course, but for the purposes of a avatar base, not requiring any specific shader made the most sense.

Will there be a VRC Quest version of this avatar?

- No. Between the requirement for the digitigrade legs needing constraints, and all of the special functions of the avatar needing buttloads of constraints and senders/receivers to function properly, there will never be a official VRC Quest version, as I will not compromise on intended functionality of the avatar.
